I help parents and carers complete Child DLA applications, taking the pressure of actually getting everything down on paper off you.

I spent more than 12 years working for the Department for Work and Pensions, and later worked as an adviser for Citizens Advice.  I'm also part of a neurodivergent family, so I know that filling in these forms isn't as simple as just answering the questions in front of you.  

When something has simply become part of everyday life for you, it can be really tricky to extract what the additional needs actually are, what extra support you may be putting in place without even thinking twice about it anymore.  It's simply your daily family life.  

This is where I come in.

I help you differentiate between what would be expected for a child or young person of that age, and what is required because of their needs.  The workarounds, the extra support, the extra costs, the extra time and thought - all of it.  

We sit down virtually, we talk through what your normal is, and I take that away and translate it into the language and detail needed to complete your claim.

I'll ask questions, listen, and pick out details that you may not have realised were relevant - or details that maybe you're simply too overwhelmed to be able to pick out yourself.

You'll end up with a detailed Child DLA form that reflects your situation, your child's individual needs and the support they actually need.
